hello poeple!
long time no post....
have been real busy nowadays....have ROD, NDP.... bla bla...
the ROD is enough to kill mi le.
was rushing through the ROD stuffs on wenesday,.....
we were finishing up the souvenirs for the seniors last minute, as we were short of materials....
i was busily wiring the names wif sarah and joon....
the rest were pumping ballons ( jia sheng, ryan, yenn shen, miss pang, de xing, mr kung) and most ballons which exploded halfway through were right in front of mi! wth...... i nearly gt shocked to death....
and hence, we were half camping in sch. only went back home at 7.30, reach home at 9pm. zzz
lol.... of cos..had fun... went a little crazy.......
thanks for all the hard work people.........
although its a litttle rush and last minute, bt all of us did put in alot of effort.
ROD CEREMONY
yesterday was the ROD ceremony....
reeached sch at 6.30am....took a cab......
continue to blow up balloons and tying them to ribbons.
the hall only got cleared at 2.0 pm after the assembly..
then we only have a little bit of time setting up the place, chairs and decorations.
delayed a while.........
the ceremony was supposed to start at 3.15... bt it started at 3.20 instead.
only mdm zahara, miss pang and mr kung was present. mr chan had interview wif the DSA ppl...so he cant attend. sad.
the ceremony started well.....
with mdm zahara giving opening speech, dina and mattheus wif siva giving a later speech.
then we have a video of appreciation for the seniors....
due to the horrible sound effect, we cant hear what the juniors say in the video, so they had to come up the stage....of cos...many grumbled. heh.
supposingly this part of the event shld be screwed up, bt thanks to the juniors, they managed to stalled some time on the stage by sabotaging more of their friends up the stage to relate their appreciation for the seniors.
thanks juniors! u did well!
next, joon gave a speech....and he said smt very wrong..... he shld nt have said it, even wif the influence of jia sheng.
sarah speech was normal...as usual....... perfect one.
then we sang an edited song...... "red river valley"
i scewed up that part. i promised mr kung that i will donwload the song from youtube, which i didnt managed to due to the network breakdown the day before.....
then we dont have background music le.....
luckily miss pang stepped in to save the day.......
she PLAYED THE PIANO!
even without the scores and everything........ she just played....tried out the keys and started the music.....omg.......she dam pro la.... grade 8... wow.
MILLION THANKS TO MISS PANG!
everyone joined in the song...... of which after that all the seniors joined the ex co on the stage and sing........the atmosphere then was informal but full of 'feelings' .
mdm zahara saw everything...and i guess she was quite surprised.
cos this is much much better than the sl ROD. -obviously...
pb has a history of 56 years....
sl?---only 3 years
so all the more we should out-beat them.
i am being bias here. cause i am also a sl.
anyway, we ended of wif the prefects oath.
this is the end of part one.
part two:
refreshment time.
took a 'family' photo.....
then we did cheers.....
where the leading cheer is the one we just created......
and aft tat all prefects ran down to arena and did the rest of the pb cheers.....
all were high..... and hyper......something that is memorable.
then they ran back to the hall.....
were seperated into different grps..... and did private gathering......
and yes--the 57th ex co gave out souvenirs to our repective seniors......
and they loved it! yay!
long live water babies!
and yes,....during the handling over ceremony, the 56th ex co gave us each a badge. with our respective position carved on it.
the ballons on the chairs were stepped on...... and the hall was full of exploding noises....
heh.... bt one thing is for sure--everyone enjoyed themselve...
as the food was completely wiped out b4 the 56th ex co feast on it....lol.....except the bee hoon.... which taste lyk bean sprouts. -.-
welll.....there r many behind-the-scenes.....
i shall not state... bt i can say tat we slacked in the pb room after the ceremony.....and......the poor secretary gt bullied and drenched..............
once again, i would like to thank all the seniors for their guidience and care towards us all these while....although i joined pb nt even for a year, i learnt alot from u guys.
esp meiling and swee hong...our sec 3 IC. thank you!
the real journey only starts now.................
NDP:
i shall not really say much...too long winded le.....ins hort, i nearly got heat stroke...with tat blazer on.
now i know why its called-blazer......cause it blazes ppl....
lol. so random. -.-
i looked weird aft all.
heh.
